Please remember that our school opens at 8:00 a.m. each morning for breakfast.  Students should not be arriving earlier than 8, unless they are participating in an early morning class.  Students also need to be picked up promptly at the end of the day, 3:25 p.m. Monday - Thursday and 1:25 p.m. on Friday.  We have many students each day who are not picked up until 20 - 30 minutes after the bell rings.

Thanks for all you do to support our students!

Dear Year-Round Elementary Parents,

Thank you for providing input regarding the proposal to alter the year-round calendar. We heard from over 1250 parents of year-round students. The survey indicates that an overwhelming percentage of teachers (86%) and parents (91%) support the proposal to continue online learning during off-track time, enabling year-round schools to be dismissed earlier for this school year. The Jordan School District Board of Education has given approval for this plan to move forward.

Beginning this Monday, April 13, 2020, all tracks will continue online learning during off-track time and dismiss as follows:

  • Students on A track will be dismissed on Friday, May 29, 2020.
  • Students on B, C, and D tracks will be dismissed on Friday, June 5, 2020.

If school resumes on May 4, 2020, off-track students will still continue online learning and will be released on the dates listed above.

Each teacher will contact parents with additional details for how online learning will continue during off-track time.

Thank you again for your valued input. We hope this plan helps parents with the additional flexibility they have asked for. Please call your school with any additional questions.

Governor Gary Herbert announced today that the school dismissal for all Utah schools will be extended for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
This means Jordan School District schools will not be in session for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year. Student learning will continue at home for all students through the end of the school year.
More information regarding the extended dismissal and alternate plans for graduation and other end-of-year activities will be forthcoming.
Grab-and-go breakfast and lunch will continue at current sites through the end of the school year.
Thank you for your continued support.

We were saddened by the Governor’s announcement that students will not be returning for the end of the school year. Therefore, teachers have been gathering students’ school belongings to return to each student. We would like to set up a “drive through” day and time to accomplish this task by having parents pull through the front drop off zone and stopping in front of your student’s teacher.
